Terms and Conditions

I know this all seems very official but it’s good to know where you stand in certain situations. If you have any questions on any of these things then please don’t hesitate to ask.

To reserve your regular booking and help me manage payments, lessons need to be booked/paid for a minimum of 4 in advance. At the end of a batch you will be reminded that a payment is due the following week.

If you wish to cancel a lesson then please can you give as much notice as possible. I will always seek to give you an alternative time. There’s a 24 hour cancellation policy: if you cancel with less than a day’s notice it’s likely you will still be charged for the lesson as this is time that could have been used for another lesson. Conversely if I cancel for any reason then the fee will be held in lieu and will be added on to the end of a run of lessons - I’ll endeavour to provide plenty of notice.

If lessons are missed for more than two consecutive weeks (or bookings are cancelled on a regular basis) then your time slot may be offered to another student; I will consult with you first before doing this. If you wish to stop lessons permanently then a months notice would be helpful.

As a rule I don’t run to normal term structures and lessons will continue through school holidays.
Parents, please make sure that students are picked up promptly after their lesson and please remember to bring all books/folders; lessons are tailor made and therefore one student cannot use another’s material. If you need to talk about the tuition then please do so at the beginning of a lesson or arrange a good time to phone. If you do it at the end of a lesson it could encroach into the next student’s time.

Thanks for taking time to read this through.
